In the monthly email report, we provide some statistics related to your station and city to help you understand your contribution to global air quality monitoring better. These are the details that we include:

1. Station Follower

This is the number of users who follow your station by clicking the "heart" button on the station page on the IQAir website and AirVisual app. They can view the data from your station in their Places list on the app.

To attract more followers, you can share your station on social media platforms. Check the widget tool here.

2. City Follower

This is the number of users who follow the city page that your station belongs to.

3. Uptime

We calculate uptime as (hours when your station reported data) / (the total hours in the month) *%

This is to help you understand whether your station reports data smoothly and steadily. If your uptime is lower than the Community average uptime, you may want to check your power supply and internet connection to work steadily.

In rare cases, your station data may be filtered out if IQAir's AI algorithms classify them as implausible. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us if this is the case and we can figure out a solution. Learn more about IQAir's data calibration system here.

4. Community average uptime

This statistic represents the average uptime for all public stations worldwide. It is calculated as (sum of hours when contributors' stations report data) / (sum of stations * 24 * day of the month) *%.

This will help you understand how your station is performing compared to other contributors' stations.
