When we launched the badge system, we looked at your past contributions and automatically added the badges you had already earned. This was our way of acknowledging your history with us—so you could see the full picture of your contributions right from the start.

Points, however, are awarded for milestones recognized from the launch date onward. Here is how it works:

For the initial launch, we awarded points for the highest-level badge you had already achieved in each category. This is the badge that best represents your contribution to date.

The lower-level badges you see on your profile are part of your journey. They are displayed so you can see your full progression, but they do not include additional points, as they reflect past achievements that occurred before the program began.

Going forward, whenever you reach a new milestone, you will receive points for that new badge.

This approach is consistent with how many loyalty programs and recognition systems work: past contributions are acknowledged with honor and recognition, while rewards are tied to progress made from the program launch onward.

If you have any questions about your points or badges, feel free to contact us at support.ch@iqair.com with your contributor profile details.
